The Kompact is Stündenglass's smaller gravity infuser — the same patented mechanism as the full-size unit, in a footprint that fits a normal table.
The engineering is genuinely novel rather than novelty. Two contra-rotating glass chambers use gravity and water displacement to push vapour rather than relying on your lungs to pull it. Rotate the chamber 360° and the pour does the work — which is why the draw is effortless and why the piece has picked up design awards outside the industry.
Built from aircraft-grade aluminium and borosilicate glass. It also accepts a hose attachment, so it works as a gravity hookah for more than one person.
