New to the culture or brushing up? Here are the terms you'll see around the shop.
Bong / Water Pipe
A filtration piece that cools smoke through water for smoother hits.
Dab Rig
A water pipe built for concentrates, used with a banger instead of a bowl.
Banger
The quartz bucket where concentrate is vaporized on a dab rig.
Carb Cap
A lid that traps heat and controls airflow for low-temp dabs.
Percolator (Perc)
An internal part that adds bubbles and diffusion for extra cooling.
Downstem
The tube that channels smoke from the bowl into the water.
Terp Pearls
Small quartz or ruby balls that spin to spread concentrate evenly.
Nectar Collector / Dab Straw
A handheld dab tool you touch directly to concentrate.
Joint Size
The fitting size (10mm / 14mm / 18mm) where accessories connect.
Recycler
A rig that loops water continuously between two chambers for extra cooling and less drag.
Kief Catcher
The bottom chamber of a 4-piece grinder, which collects the fine dust that falls through the screen.
Ash Catcher
An attachment between bowl and bong that traps ash before it reaches the main chamber.
