Collaboration at this tier

Two established artists working the same piece is rare, and it is rare for a practical reason: both have to be at the torch, in the same studio, for the duration. Each brings a technique the other does not, and both signatures go on the finished work. Collabs are produced in far smaller numbers than either artist's solo output, which is why they sit at the top of the secondary market.

Object-form sculpture

A sneaker has to read as a sneaker — sole, seams, proportion — while remaining structurally sound and functional as glass. There is no forgiving abstraction to hide behind; the reference is in everyone's head already.

Buying at this level

This is a one-of-one. There is no second unit and no reproduction. The piece photographed is the piece that ships.

Inspected before dispatch, double-boxed and foam-suspended, fully insured in transit for its full value.
